We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join our team. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications, preparing comprehensive cost estimates, and ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of our bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost estimation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
- Prepare cost estimates for various stages of the project lifecycle, including conceptual, schematic, and detailed design phases.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide input on potential cost-saving measures.
- Maintain and update cost databases, including historical cost data, unit rates, and material prices.
- Prepare and present cost reports and bid proposals to management and clients.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy..
- Monitor project progress and adjust cost estimates as necessary to reflect changes in project scope or conditions.
Most importantly, accurate estimates from plans.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
