We are searching for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist who will work with our

e-commerce brand (which is based in the US and sells primarily through Amazon.com).

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain

coordination, while also performing administrative tasks such as inventory planning and

order fulfillment, in order to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the supply

Chain.

Beyond your professional experience, we are looking for someone who is

detail-oriented, analytical, and a creative problem-solver. Youre perfect for this role if

tools and ideas.

What Success Looks Like:

A successful Supply Chain Specialist functions as the primary point of contact between suppliers, forwarders, warehouses and our business.

There is a focus on maintaining consistent naming conventions for documentation and every shipment has completed checklists of required documentation. These documents will be maintained in an organized and searchable fashion. They maintain document distribution and storage, data entry and accuracy, provide forecasts, monitor safety stock levels and suggest plan reorder points, ensuring we have a 99.5% instock rate while minimizing excess/dead inventory respective to each warehouse location.

Its imperative that all shipping performance metrics are maintained with a high level of scrutiny and precision. Finally, they will be able to identify efficiencies and optimize our supply chain costs with a goal of reducing costs whenever possible.

In this role, you will:

Primary Objectives This must be done first and at all costs.

• Manage product inventory

• o >99.5% in stock rate, by defining forecast and safety stock level and reorder points, ensuring smooth inventory replenishment on a weekly basis.

Regular Work Activities These will be done on an ongoing daily/weekly basis.

• Track Average Cost of Goods per SKU

• Manage IPI score

• Suggest product replenishment through ongoing Purchase Order issuance

• Track supplier deliveries (Create & Monitor Shipment IDs), and expedite deliveries as necessary.

• Maintain a positive business relationship with suppliers, warehousing vendors, freight forwarders and customs agents.

• Coordinates transportation and logistics requirements by selecting appropriate transportation methods for items purchased; may coordinate with a third-party logistics provider; may participate in transportation provider audits.

• Coordinates with the product management team to obtain feedback regarding the quality of the products the suppliers are creating. Then relaying feedback to suppliers to improve product quality.

• Maintain supplier scorecards to measure and track supplier performance Setup and manage a quality control process using vendors such as SGS to ensure that every shipment meets the quality standards per product.

• Seek understanding and work with suppliers to prevent future discrepancies.

• Recommend process changes as needed.

• Reduce/eliminate unnecessary freight and supply chain expenses

• Update Warehouse Inventory in all inventory management tools and spreadsheets.

• Reconcile shipments in project management tools, Amazon, 3PLs, and storage Warehouses.

Core qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Amazon Seller Central

• Experience and knowledge about US Import/Export Regulations

• Relevant work experience in supply chain management and logistics for an Amazon FBA and Shopify DTC business

• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools to analyze trends, forecast demand, and optimize supply chain processes

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills to build complex and interconnected inventory planning/forecasting trackers

• Working knowledge of working with API integrations and understanding scripts

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and most importantly propose solutions to improve overall performance

• Excellent communication skills are crucial for collaborating with various stakeholders in the supply chain, including vendors, suppliers, 3PLs, and internal teams. The ability to convey complex information clearly is essential

• Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they meet objectives within budget and timelines.

• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
