The Application Specialist works as part of the application support team, to assist with solution support, testing and implementation activities. It provides a dedicated and professional solution knowledge base, together with deployment and domain expertise.
Location: Dubai
Job Type: Contractual
Duration 6 months
Responsibilities
- To manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain automotive leasing application and other domain applications assigned to agreed service level standards.
- Investigates and develops specifications for system changes to handle workloads and high availability.
- Develops and maintains documentation for technical solution modifications.
- Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.
- Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Security Standards and strengthen internal controls.
- 5-8 years’ experience in application implementation and support environment
- Technology domain expertise in Automotive and leasing
- Analysis and troubleshooting skills used to support end users.
- Experience working on or supporting one or more Full Life Cycle enterprise application implementation
- Experience in working in PODs or in an Agile environment as a software developer partnering successfully with the tech leader
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and the process tools
- Experienced in working with Databases and writing SQL queries
