· Supervise staff in reviewing CTG machine operation, interpretation for different gynae situations

. Assist in communication with patients’ parents and documentation.

· Ensure step down patients are given proper care

· Ensure stepdown unit monitors are properly functioning

· Ensure minimizing unnecessary stay of patients in stepdown in order to provide space for those in need of HDU care

· Ensure staff follow-up patients by performing rounds after every 2 hours, in case of sick, night shift and stressed-out patients’ rounds must be in a span of ½ hours or as required.

. Develop an understanding of cardiovascular patient management, respiratory patient management, neurological patient management, gastrointestinal patient management, and musculoskeletal patient management to providing excellent patient care

· Make sure all the exits are smooth exits, make efforts to satisfy undesirable discharges (LAMA, DOR, and Referral etc.) and try to change them into normal DC

· Facilitate the process of exit if required, ensure counseling that the patient would remain better and safe at home in every aspect.

· Ensure all the needful are done at the time of exit

.Train attendants about patient’s diet, NG, physio, medication etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs80,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Masters (Preferred)

Experience:

  • As a Head Nurse: 7 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • PNC (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Karachi (Preferred)
