A Day in the Life

As Director of Operations, you will be a key member of the Country Management Committee, leading the charge for operational excellence across all facets of our business in Pakistan. This high-impact role calls for a strategic thinker with a passion for operational efficiency and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a compelling vision and strategy for Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations in Pakistan, ensuring alignment with the Groups overall objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of Operations shared services, ensuring the continuous performance and optimization of resources to meet the evolving needs of our business divisions.
• Performance Management: Drive exceptional results across key operational metrics, including quality, safety, environment, local sourcing, service levels, costs, inventory management, and the reduction of Slow Moving & Obsolete inventory.
• Best Practice Champion: Guarantee the implementation and adherence to L’Oréal Operations Group best practices across Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Report on Supply Chain and Manufacturing performance, KPIs, and critical issues to the Country Management Committee and Zone Operations teams, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
• Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements within Pakistan for all Operations activities.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams across Customer Service, Demand & Supply Planning, Physical Distribution/Logistics/Warehousing, Quality & EHS, Direct & Indirect Procurement, Manufacturing Supply Chain, Local Production, Sourcing, and Innovation/Localization. Partner with the local HR Director to foster a culture of learning and development, ensuring the continuous growth and expertise of your teams.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned Operations leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience, a proven track record of success in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and a passion for the beauty industry. You thrive in a collaborative environment and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
