Overview: We are seeking an incumbent who will be responsible to handle day-to-day shipments & operational activities of Air Freight Imports in the most efficient, smooth and productive manner meeting all KPIs, service deliverables & customer expectations. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Perform all shipments related operational activities through CargoWise-1 system.
  • Close coordination with GHA / airport staff for all incoming shipments.
  • Issuance of Delivery Orders to customers as per agreed terms of business/instructions of the immediate supervisor/manager.
  • Issuance of Freight Invoices correctly, without any delay & handing them over to concerned parties.
  • Shipments execution in accordance with their details & follow-up with respective origins on a regular basis, as per customer needs.
  • Regular update to customers of their shipments status.
  • Assist immediate supervisor/manager in responding to local and overseas business-related inquiries.
  • Maintain effective & professional communication with carriers, GHAs, customers & network offices.
  • Maintain updated record of business data at all times.
  • Listening to customers’ complaints empathetically and seeking Manager’s advice for necessary actions.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years of import & export operations work experience at multinational or renowned local freight forwarding company.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification in relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of Air import & export regulations and documentation.
  • Possessing excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
