Liaison

Consult with managers to determine the role of the IT system in an organization .

    Planning

    Design and develop new systems by choosing and configuring hardware and software

      Business Requirements

      • Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.
        • Train the system’s end users and write instruction manuals

      Testing

      Provides assistance in documenting current business processes and models.

        Business Case

        Provides assistance in business case development (i.e., research, data collection).

          Business Support

          • Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization
          • Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if information systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile

          Minimum qualifications:

          • Associate’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems,

          or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.

          Minimum experience:

          • 10 years of IT work experience in computer systems or support.
