Job Objective:
To assist production manager in overall production related activities / Delegate for production manager. Ensure all the manufacturing processes, equipment and records are maintained as per KO / relevant standard requirements and procedures.
Job Nature:
This is manufacturing / production operations related job with prime responsibility to Manage production plan with quality product as per defined standards and maintain required output level and efficiency, while maintaining equipment in good working and safe conditions and manage process following GMP conditions.
Around 60% job activities are related to onsite supervision of processes equipment and manufacturing operations. While 40% job role is related to office work.
Critical role in implementation of IMS (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000), problem solving and Source for frontline information for inputs related to process changes, improvement projects etc.
Job Description Overview:
- To assist production manager in overall production related activities. Ensure all the manufacturing records are maintained as per KO requirements and procedures.
- Support production Manager in leading team to achieve production targets and plant KPIs including but not limited to TDQ, PDR, Perfect Order, and Equipment efficiency and maintenance metrics.
- Apply and embed Integrated Management Systems (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000) concepts and requirements in the manufacturing processes.
- Lead production maintenance, coordination, and planning for maintenance related activities to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency of equipment.
- Apply root cause analysis / Hazard assessment and generate corrective actions to avoid issue recurrence.
QUALIFICATION:
Must Haves:
- BE Engineering in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics from reputed university.

Additional education in engineering and business administration.
EXPERIENCE
Must Haves:
- Minimum: 3 years, with respect to Job Title
- Preferred: 5, with respect to Job Description.

Judgment and Decision-Making:
- Assignments are typically received in the form of projects and results expected, but he has considerable freedom to decide on priorities and how to accomplish his assignments.
- Report issues to Manager as soon as possible.
Work Dependency:
This position works closely with the other plant’s staff (Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance)
Internal interactions:
- Plant’s manager and its leadership team.
- Plant’s staff (Supply Chain, Quality, and maintenance associates), (daily basis).
- Engineering with regard to equipment
- QA with regard to quality issues
- SC with regard to material handling
- Production Manager and production staff – Daily
External interactions:
- Machine & equipment suppliers (as required).
- Business Unit (as required).
- CPS Asia Plants – ( as required)
Language Requirements:
- Urdu and preferably good understanding of reading / writing English, Should have capability of reading and writing English to understand and write SOPs, process instructions and can complete required records filling.
- Should be capable to communicate through emails.
- Should be able to participate and understand virtual sessions. Like coordination and discussion outside CPS Pakistan for resolution and closing of SAP related tickets.
Working Conditions:
Work to be performed in accordance with QEOSH policy, Company policies guidelines & KORE.
