Job Description:
Qualification:

• BS in Computer Sciences or Software or IT

Experience:

• 4 to 5 Years of experience in troubleshooting and configuring IT Setup of around 500 nodes

Additional Requirements:
a. Responsible for operation and maintenance of the following equipment installed in Exam Centre: (1) Monitoring of UPSs (Server Room, Control Room, Moderation Room, and HVAC Room) physically / online and regularly checking backup time on full load. (2) Video Surveillance setup, Temperature and Humidity Sensor / Monitor. (3) 525 x Thin Clients (display, network, power and peripheral devices) (4) PA System b. Carry out pre-exam inspection / testing of IT equipment / infrastructure before start of every NET Series. c. Assist in conduct of Mock sessions. d. Perform night duties in Exam Centre for round-the-clock monitoring of Server Room (temperature, humidity & power) and ensure that it remains within permissible limits and maintain its logs. e. Ensure completion of login operation of 525 x Thin Clients approximately 60 mins before the start of every session and assist candidates during the login process and remain present in the Exam Center for technical support. f. Managing the UG admission helpdesk as and when required. g. Troubleshooting (hardware / software) of computers, laptops, printers, photocopier any other IT equipment installed in Exam Hall and Admissions Dte. h. Responsible for maintaining repository of drivers, softwares and safe custody of manuals & warranty Cards, completion certificates and vouchers of IT equipment. i. Coordination with Works, Admin and ICT staff for impending installation, repair and maintenance activity in Exam Center. j. Facilitate in conduct of any other activities planned in Exam Center like recruitment drives, semester exams (OHT-1, OHT-2 and ESE) conducted by different schools and Dtes. k. Responsible for routine health checkups of IT Infrastructure of Exam Centre. l. Any other task assigned by the Director.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Competencies:

• Knowledge of installing and configuring Windows Server Editions.

• Configuration of Active Directory / DHCP, NTP Servers

• MCSE, CCNA / HCNA
