Data Systems Support Officer (EPI)

The incumbent will provide technical support and training to all data feeders and users of immunization data systems at the national and provincial level, ensuring the accurate and timely capture, analysis, and reporting of immunization data. S/he will ensure the smooth operation of these systems and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of immunization data.

The incumbent will perform below tasks:

1. Provide technical support to all data feeders and users of immunization data systems.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data entry, processing, and reporting.

3. Conduct training sessions for data feeders and users on the use of immunization data systems.

4. Develop training materials and resources to enhance the capacity of users.

5. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of immunization data systems.

6. Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure data integrity and security.

7. Monitor data entry and processing to ensure accuracy and completeness of immunization data.

8. Conduct regular audits and checks to maintain data quality standards.

9. Prepare regular reports on the performance and usage of immunization data systems.

10. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and protocols.

11. Perform any other related task, as required.

Recruitment Profile

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in providing technical support for data systems, preferably in the healthcare or immunization sector.

Functional Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in database management systems and data analysis tools.

• Strong knowledge of immunization data systems and their use in healthcare settings.

Language: Good knowledge of English and local language (Urdu).

LICA is a non-staff contract whereby the signatory has the status of a contractor and not considered in any respect as being a staff member of either the World Health Organization (WHO) or UNOPS. As such, there will be no employer-employee relationship between the signatory and the contracting Organization.
