Senior IT Contract Management Specialist

Description

- Negotiate, draft, and manage complex technology contracts with major global vendors, ensuring compliance with international legal standards and organizational objectives.

- Serve as the primary legal advisor for all IT procurement initiatives, specializing in areas critical to enterprise-level technology agreements, including software licensing, cloud service agreements, and data security.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential tech vendors to evaluate compliance with international regulations and standards.

- Develop strategies to address and mitigate legal risks associated with new and emerging technologies, staying ahead of trends in AI, blockchain, and other innovations.

- Lead legal risk management efforts for technology contracts, providing expertise on intellectual property rights, data protection, and privacy issues across various jurisdictions.

- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that technology contracts support both legal compliance and business objectives.

- Provide training to internal teams on the legal aspects of technology procurement and the implications of emerging tech trends on contract management.

- Establish robust procedures for ongoing contract review and optimization, ensuring agility and responsiveness to changes in technology and law.

- Maintain close collaboration with internal legal team and external lawyers.

- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory environments on a global scale, with a strong track record of successful negotiations with major tech vendors.

- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages highly desirable.

Minimum qualifications:

- Law degree from an internationally recognized university with specialization in contract law, technology law, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in technology contract management within a global corporation, demonstrating a deep understanding of enterprise -level tech vendor dynamics.
