Category Associate

• Identify and build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with support teams to ensure accurate order information.
• Taking regular market surveys for new products availability.
• Represent purchasing in new product development projects as an active team member.
• Regularly interact with vendors and category managers to make sure that products are procured on competitive rates with best quality
• Support development of market insights from cross-client sourcing activity
• Manage content processes and make sure that all content on the app for the concerned category is accurate as a physical product.
• Manage category resources, ensuring GMV, Margins, NMR or back margins targets are achieved.
• Ensure that all available assortment in the market is also available on the APP.
• Infuse market insights into the sourcing process on projects within categories of expertise..
• Own product launches end-to-end new from sourcing, go-to-market strategy, execution to commercialization.
• Understand costs, cost planning and analysis to support cost reductions, cost negotiations, parts strategy and supplier strategy.
• Partner with all key stakeholders
• Identify key insights and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Develop plans and priorities for the team to ensure activities are focused on achieving department goals.
• Work collaboratively with finance for a smooth payment process.

• A graduation degree from a reputable institution
• Fresh/ 2 years years or more experience in analytical roles involving excel, SQL or Tableau.
• Comfortable using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Google Data Studio)
• Proficient in predictive modeling and forecasting via Excel or other tools
• Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritized way
• Extremely analytical, data-driven & with a keen eye on process improvement
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude is the cornerstone of your personality
• You must be adept at G-Suite
