Accountant

A dynamic and innovative manufacturing firm newly established in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial health and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage all accounting transactions and maintain general ledger.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant.
• MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
