Assistant Manager Procurement

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement of hospital supplies, with a focus on surgical, laboratory, and radiology items, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
  • Evaluate and obtain departmental approval for procurement while selecting reliable vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors to secure on-time deliveries.
  • Verify the quality and regulatory compliance of procured items.
  • Manage the warehouse and warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels and address inventory management issues.
  • Review purchase requests based on demand, stock availability, and expiration status.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with the hospitals budget and financial policies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor performance reports, and documentation.
  • Address vendor concerns and resolve supply chain challenges.

Requirement:

  • Minimum qualification: MBA SUPPLY CHAIN
  • 4-5 years of experience with SCM, specifically within the hospital industry
