Backend developer

Job description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Backend Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js, with hands-on experience in databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js ● Write clean, modular, and well-documented code in JavaScript and TypeScript

● Integrate and manage data using MongoDB or PostgreSQL

● Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions

● Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems

● Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

Required Skills & Experience:

● 1-2 years of backend development experience using Node.js and Express.js

● Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

● Experience with databases: MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend architecture patterns

● Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows

Bonus Points For:

● Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

● Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines

● Exposure to authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
