Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, server administration (Linux & Windows), and a solid understanding of security, networking, and automation. You will be responsible for maintaining performance, cost-efficiency, security, and scalability across our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain AWS accounts and services based on organizational needs.
• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure including:

o VPC, EC2, LightSail, CI/CD Pipelines, Elasticsearch, and related AWS tools.

• Perform provisioning and de-provisioning of instances and services as needed.
• Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
• Ensure redundancy, uptime, and business continuity.
• Manage and optimize Cloudflare, CDN, DNS, and related services.
• Enforce cloud security protocols including 2FA, IAM policies, region-specific access, and best practices.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers efficiently and securely.
• Understand and manage Database as a Service (DBaaS) solution.
• Handle critical incidents with strong problem-solving skills and urgency.
• Create detailed reports and implement automated reporting via cloud tools and dashboards.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and provide recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth cloud operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure and services.
• Passion for technology and adaptability to new cloud tools and solutions
• Strong background in Linux and Windows server administration.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, Cloudflare, CDNs, and DNS.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, automation, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and data protection policies.
• Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
• Experience with databases and DBaaS platforms (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience 1-2 years | BS Not mandatory
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin, or DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
