Content Writer and Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

• Develop engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos, and infographics) tailored for Facebook, including posts, stories, and ads.
• Design visually appealing graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite to align with brand guidelines.
• Research and identify trending topics, hashtags, and audience interests to inform content strategy.

Social Media Management

• Share content across relevant Facebook groups to maximize reach and engagement.
• Schedule and manage a monthly content calendar using tools like Trello, Asana, or Google Calendar.
• Monitor and analyze post performance (engagement rates, shares, conversions) to refine strategies.

Community Engagement & Relationship Building

• Actively interact with users posts in Facebook groups (commenting, liking, sharing) to foster relationships.
• Build partnerships with local and niche business owners by offering value-driven support and collaboration opportunities.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries to maintain a positive brand presence.

Lead Generation & Education

• Create and distribute free guides/resources (e.g., “10 Tips to Boost Your Facebook Visibility”) to help businesses grow their online presence.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design lead-generation campaigns and calls-to-action.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and prepare monthly reports for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on Facebook algorithm changes and social media trends to adapt strategies effectively.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in content writing, social media management, or digital marketing (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media scheduling platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Facebooks features (Groups, Pages, Ads Manager, Insights).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience managing Facebook Groups or running community-building campaigns.
