About the Internship:

We are looking for a fresh Electrical Engineering graduate to join our US-Based Estimation Team through a paid internship program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in estimation. While the primary focus will be on the electrical scope of work, you will also gain valuable exposure to other general construction trades and estimation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and basic cost estimates for electrical systems based on project drawings and specifications.
• Learn and use estimation software tools such as PlanSwift under supervision.
• Support in preparing bid documentation, pricing sheets, and technical proposals.
• Review electrical layouts including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate with team members across different trades to ensure cohesive and accurate estimates.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, calculations, and estimation data.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
• Experience: Internship or project experience in electrical estimation or construction is a plus.
• Skills:
• Understanding of basic electrical design, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with PlanSwift or other estimation tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a professional environment.
• Ability to work night shifts and meet deadlines.
