Game Tester

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute comprehensive QA tests for mobile games on Android and iOS platforms.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on game design and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing across a wide range of devices and OS versions.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar, ensuring accurate reproduction and severity classification.
• Test core gameplay, UI/UX, in-app purchases, ads, push notifications, and analytics.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to communicate issues and validate fixes.
• Conduct network condition testing, device compatibility checks, and performance validation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA process improvements and documentation.
• Stay updated with mobile platform changes, device trends, and testing tools.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in QA testing for mobile games on Android and iOS.
• Strong knowledge of mobile QA methodologies, test design, and defect tracking.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, and device testing platforms.
• Familiarity with mobile devices, OS behavior differences, and app store compliance.
• Ability to isolate, reproduce, and clearly document bugs and usability issues.
• Understanding of mobile gameplay mechanics, monetization systems, and game lifecycles.
• Passion for mobile gaming and a detail-oriented mindset.
