Manager Procurement
Manager Procurement:
Experience: At-least 10 to 15 years of Experience in a reputed Textile company.
Qualification/Degree: Graduation or Above.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in textile knitwear industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices & Regulations.
- Excellent market knowledge.
- Negotiation & communication skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure machinery parts and general items for production and maintenance for all departments.
- Procurement of construction materials, civil works & IT Equipment.
- Ensure timely and cost effective procurement of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Follow SOPs of procurement department.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and timely receipt of invoices, track & ensure timely delivery of goods & services.
- Ensure quality of products and compliance according to goods/product specifications.
- Ensure, prepare and maintain records for audit and compliance purposes.
