Job Summary:The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the operational processes within the company. This individual will work closely with senior management to develop strategies that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and ensure the companys goals and objectives are met. The Operations Manager will oversee a team of staff, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company or specific departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to evaluate productivity and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes and procedures to ensure efficient production and delivery of products or services.
  • Ensure operational activities align with the companys business goals and strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage, train, and motivate a team of operational staff, providing clear direction and performance expectations.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work culture to maintain high employee morale and engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure continuous development.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost control while maintaining quality.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas where cost savings can be achieved without compromising service quality.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure that all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and policies across operations.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving operational processes and achieving company objectives.
  • Implement new technologies and systems to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Ensure that customer needs are met by delivering high-quality products/services on time and within budget.
  • Respond to operational issues that affect customer satisfaction and work to resolve them promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of operations, including productivity, efficiency, cost savings, and performance.
  • Analyze data and reports to assess trends, forecast operational requirements, and make informed decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in IT.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, driving operational efficiency, and achieving organizational goals.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Occasional travel may be required for operational site visits.
