Job Opportunity: OTDR Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometry) equipment for fiber optic testing
  • Perform splicing, terminating, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables
  • Ensure network integrity through regular maintenance and inspections
  • Accurately document work and test results
  • Work in diverse environments including field and indoor locations

Education & Experience:

  • DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) - Electrical/Electronics/Telecom
  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in fiber optic network or OTDR testing
  • Fresh candidates with basic OTDR knowledge are also encouraged to apply!

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of fiber optics and testing principles
  • Familiarity with splicing machines, OTDR, and other testing tools
  • Ability to interpret test results and technical diagrams
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
