PHP Developer (Remote )

The PHP Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both the backend and frontend of web applications, ensuring database integrity, fixing bugs, and collaborating with the team to implement new features efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend features for Source Code Academias web projects.
• Work within the Laravel framework and relational databases for backend development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both backend and frontend applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for both backend and frontend components, adhering to best coding practices.
• Follow GitHub best practices for version control, including proper commit messages, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
• Submit pull requests for IT Managers review before merging into main codebase.
• Track tasks and time spent in ClickUp diligently.
• Ensure security best practices and confidentiality guidelines are followed in code and database access.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and improve user functionality across both the frontend and backend.
• Ensure compliance with intellectual property and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in PHP development
• Framework Expertise: Strong proficiency in Laravel
• Database Skills: Hands-on experience with MySQL
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of REST APIs, problem-solving abilities, and a team-player mindset
