SCM Inventory Executive

The Supply Chain Executive - Inventory Management will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including managing stock levels, updating inventory across marketplaces, handling container stock for incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring accurate reconciliation. The role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory management software. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory planning, stock management, and a keen understanding of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of stock across all marketplaces.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Marketplace Stock Updates:

• • Ensure real-time updates of inventory across various online marketplaces.
  • Work closely with the sales and e-commerce teams to reflect accurate stock levels.

Inventory Management Software:

• • Update and manage inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates to reflect current stock levels.

Container Stock Management:

• • Oversee the incoming and outgoing stock within containers.
  • Manage the unloading, storage, and distribution of container goods.
  • Track and reconcile container stock with warehouse records.

Stock Adjustment & Reconciliation:

• • Perform adjustments to stock levels as required and document changes.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records to ensure accuracy.

Inventory Planning & Forecasting:

• • Assist in inventory planning and forecasting to meet business demands.
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust stock levels accordingly.

Reporting:

• • Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.

Compliance & Documentation:

• • Ensure compliance with all inventory management procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audit purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related roles.
• Proficiency in inventory management software e.g., Linn works, ERP or related softwares
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong grip on Excel
