Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Specialist (Import) to manage and optimize the companys international sourcing operations. This role is responsible for identifying reliable suppliers abroad, negotiating favorable terms, ensuring timely delivery, and complying with all import regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, knowledge of global trade practices, and experience in international procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers in accordance with company requirements.
• Manage the entire import sourcing process from supplier selection to delivery.
• Conduct market analysis to assess global supply trends, costs, and risks.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with overseas vendors.
• Coordinate with logistics, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth and timely imports.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Stay updated with import/export regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
• Optimize sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of imports, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to delayed shipments, customs clearance, or quality concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in international sourcing/import operations.
• Strong knowledge of global sourcing strategies, Incoterms, and trade regulations.
• Experience with customs procedures, shipping documentation, and HS codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (especially Mandarin, Spanish, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sourcing from countries like China, Vietnam, Turkey etc.
• Understanding of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and trade compliance.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
