Job Title: Tax SpecialistDepartment: Finance & AccountsEmployment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring the organizations full compliance with all applicable tax regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and other statutory obligations. The role involves accurate and timely filing of returns, tax planning, handling audits, and staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the company complies with all tax laws, including corporate income tax, sales tax, custom duties and other applicable taxes.

2. Prepare and file tax returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) guidelines and deadlines.

4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax documents, including income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other returns.

5. Act as the key liaison for dealing with tax authorities.

6. Represent the organization during tax audits and resolve any issues related to assessments, notices, or demands.

7. Maintain proper documentation for all tax filings, returns, and communications with tax authorities.

8. Maintain awareness of tax-related changes and adapt the companys operations accordingly.

9. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring that tax-related matters are appropriately reflected in the accounts.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of tax compliance, tax planning, and risk management.

2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

3. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Hands-on experience in using IRIS.

6. Experience in cross-border taxation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience dealing with tax audits and assessments.
  • Familiarity with international tax concepts (if applicable to the organization).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
