Position: Technical Proposal Writer (Unpaid Internship)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Proposal Writer Intern to join our team. In this unpaid internship, you will gain hands-on experience in writing and developing technical proposals that help secure business opportunities for our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn industry-specific terminology, and develop the skills needed to create compelling technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and editing technical proposals for various projects and client bids.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information and ensure the proposal accurately reflects the organizations capabilities.
• Review and revise proposal documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
• Format and organize proposals according to established templates and standards.
• Contribute to the development of proposal content, including executive summaries, technical descriptions, and solution outlines.
• Research and incorporate industry trends, terminology, and best practices into proposal documents.
• Assist with proofreading and quality assurance to ensure proposals are error-free and meet organizational and client specifications.
• Participate in proposal strategy meetings, contributing ideas and insights to improve overall proposal quality and success rate.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and translate complex technical information into clear, concise language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Interest in learning about technical writing, proposal processes, and business development.
• Previous writing or internship experience (preferred but not required).
