Technical Proposal Writer

A Business Proposal Writer is responsible for creating persuasive and well-structured proposals that help a company secure new clients, projects, or partnerships. The role requires strong writing, research, and communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of a business offering.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research & Analysis: Understand client needs, industry trends, and competitors to craft customized proposals. Analyze RFPs (Requests for Proposals), client specifications, and project details.

2. Proposal Creation: Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals, including technical, financial, and project management details. Ensure proposals address all requirements and highlight the businesss strengths.

3. Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, legal, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with company capabilities and goals.

4. Editing & Proofreading: Edit proposals for clarity, grammar, and consistency, ensuring they align with company branding and tone.

5. Proposal Strategy: Develop strategies to position the business effectively, focusing on unique selling points and benefits for the potential client.

6. Client Communication: Respond to client questions and concerns about proposals. Participate in proposal presentations or meetings, if required.

7. Tracking & Reporting:Keep track of proposal submissions, deadlines, and feedback to improve future proposal processes and strategies.

Required Skills:-

Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong research and analytical abilities

- Attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work under tight deadlines

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or other proposal management software

- Knowledge of the industry or sector the business operates in (depending on the field)

Qualifications:-

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

- Experience in proposal writing, business development, or a related field

- Previous experience can be a plus
