Technical Recruiter

The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for specialized roles in engineering disciplines, including IBMS, Busways/Busbar, Power/Electrical Contracting, Automation, EMS, Switchgear, and Engineering Projects departments. Additionally, the recruiter will support the hiring needs for non-technical departments like Admin, HR, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain, ensuring the best talent fit for the organizations goals.

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition for Technical Roles

  • Developing Talent Pipelines:
  • Build and maintain a robust database of candidates with expertise in IBMS, Busways/Busbar, Automation, Power/Electrical Contracting, EMS, Switchgear, and other engineering-related areas.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging skills required in the engineering domain.
  • Sourcing Candidates:
  • Use job boards, professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn), referrals, and engineering communities to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Leverage technical forums, trade shows, and engineering webinars to expand the candidate pool.
  • Screening & Assessing Fit:
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess technical expertise, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with department leads to understand role-specific technical requirements and ensure alignment during the selection process.
  • Technical Skill Evaluation:
  • Work with engineering teams to design and administer technical assessments where needed.
  • Review candidate projects, certifications, and portfolios to validate technical expertise.
  • Recruitment Metrics:
  • Track and report time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rates, and candidate retention for technical roles.
  • Continuously optimize recruitment strategies to meet hiring KPIs.

Support for Non-Technical Hiring

  • Administrative Roles: Source and evaluate candidates for HR, Admin, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain roles as per business needs.
  • Collaboration: Partner with department leads to identify key skills and qualifications for non-technical positions.

Employer Branding

  • Promote the companys culture and values to attract high-caliber professionals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create recruitment campaigns, highlighting the companys projects and technical advancements.

Onboarding & Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate with HR to design effective onboarding plans, ensuring technical hires are equipped to succeed from day one.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Technical Hiring Metrics: Successful placement of roles in engineering departments within agreed timelines.
  • Quality of Hire: Retention and performance of hired candidates.
  • Cost-Efficiency: Reduction in recruitment costs through effective strategies.
  • Candidate Engagement: High offer acceptance and positive candidate feedback on recruitment experience.
  • Diversity: Contribution to building a diverse workforce in both technical and non-technical departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a recruiter in an engineering or technical industry.
  • Prior experience in hiring for IBMS, Automation, Power/Electrical, and Switchgear roles is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of engineering and technical terminologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset to assess recruitment strategies and metrics.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with engineering processes, certifications, and industry-specific software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
