Tender Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Tender Specialist to lead and manage our tendering operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality proposals, managing tender submissions for government/private institutions, & ensuring timely and compliant submissions across platforms such as PPRA, SPPRA, and EPADS. If you have strong proposal writing, analytical, and communication skills, this is your chance to grow with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze RFP/RFQ/EOI/ITT documents .
• Prepare and submit technical and financial proposals for public/private tenders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, and Technical) for document collection and proposal development.
• Conduct cost estimation and risk analysis for accurate and competitive bidding.
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws and client requirements.
• Manage online tender portals (e.g., EPADS, PPRA, SPPRA).
• Maintain a central database for tenders, pricing, proposals, and outcomes.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to finalize bids.
• Provide timely post-tender follow-ups, including debriefings and negotiations.
• Regularly monitor industry updates and maintain competitor intelligence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Tender Management in medical devices business only.
• Strong technical writing and document formatting skills.
• Familiarity with SPPRA, PPRA, EPADS tender platforms.
• Excellent MS Office, excel and documentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Solid understanding of contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and bidding rules.
• Experience in Government contracts and project proposal submissions is a big plus.
• Preferred: APMP certification or formal training in Proposal Management.
