Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and child themes.
• Implement advanced backend customizations using PHP to meet specific project requirements.
• Optimize websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and high performance.
• Develop and customize APIs to integrate WordPress with external systems.
• Ensure seamless data exchange and functionality through effective API management.
• Customize and implement WooCommerce, membership plugins, and other eCommerce solutions.
• Experience with platforms like Shopify, Magento, and Joomla is desirable but not mandatory.
• Create and implement complex animations and interactive elements using JavaScript and animation libraries like GSAP.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into engaging user experiences.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Provide detailed documentation and training for clients and internal teams as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest WordPress developments, coding standards, and best practices.

Core Expertise

• Proven experience in WordPress theme and plugin development and customization.
• Proficiency in creating child themes and customizing backend functionality using PHP.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Expertise in WooCommerce and other eCommerce plugins.
• Experience with membership plugins and site optimization for speed and responsiveness.

API Development and Integration

• Demonstrated experience in developing and customizing APIs to connect WordPress with other systems.

Multi-Platform Proficiency

• Experience with Shopify, Magento, and Joomla is a plus but not mandatory.

Advanced Animation Skills

• Proficiency in implementing complex animations using libraries like GSAP or similar frameworks.

Project Management

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Other Skills

• Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Page Builders: Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery is advantageous.
• SEO Best Practices: Knowledge of SEO best practices specific to WordPress development and optimization.
• Bachelors Degree: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
