Position Title: WordPress Development Intern (Unpaid)

Position Overview: As a WordPress Development Intern, you will assist with the development and maintenance of WordPress websites. You will work closely with our development team, learning how to build and optimize WordPress themes and plugins. This internship will help you develop key skills and enhance your knowledge of web development technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and customization of WordPress themes and plugins.
• Help with troubleshooting and debugging WordPress website issues.
• Support in creating and implementing website content, including text, images, and videos.
• Participate in website maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with team members to improve website functionality and user experience.
• Help in optimizing website performance for speed and responsiveness.
• Assist in the migration of websites from other platforms to WordPress.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugin architecture.
• A strong desire to learn and improve WordPress development skills.
• Basic knowledge of PHP (a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with website optimization tools like Google Analytics, Yoast SEO, or caching plugins.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with website hosting environments and content management.

Job Types: Full-time, InternshipContract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to Rs0.10 per month
