Position Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. They play a critical role in ensuring the organization has a competent and motivated workforce while complying with labor regulations and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance and support on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Learning and Development: Identify training and development needs in collaboration with Academy which will design and deliver learning programs, and support career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- HR Operations: Develop and implement HR policies and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness. Manage day-to-day HR operations, including compensation and benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention, including employee recognition programs, surveys, and team-building activities.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, to minimize disruption and ensure successful implementation.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization to foster a welcoming and equitable workplace for all employees.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and provide regular reports and analysis to management, identifying trends and insights to inform decision-making.
Qualification & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 8 to 10 years in the HR domain.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems)
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is desirable.
Business Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
General Skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
