Position Overview

A Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting medical teams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clinical standards. The role requires compassionate care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and treatment support.
• Assist doctors and Medical Officers with examinations, procedures, and emergency care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, records, and nursing notes.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
• Prepare patients for procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Manage wound care, IV lines, injections, and other nursing procedures.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain nursing supplies, equipment, and ensure a clean and safe ward environment.
• Work effectively with doctors, medical officers, technicians, and administrative staff to provide coordinated patient care.
• Participate in training sessions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing, BSN, or equivalent nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid PNC (Pakistan Nursing Council) registration or relevant national licensure.
• Clinical experience in general wards, ICU, ER, or other hospital departments (preferred but not always mandatory).
