IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

As the Group Director Legal (Contracts), you will be an essential part of our Legal Department, reporting directly to the Group VP Legal Affairs. Your primary focus will be on overseeing all legal matters related to contracts within the telecom industry, ensuring compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Ensure learning modules are developed covering key aspects of contracts review, drafting & negotiation techniques.
• Ensure timely development of draft due diligence documents covering key issues related to the executed contracts.
• Ensure timely launch of learning modules and sessions at-least with 3-4 cross-functional departments involved in the contracts & related matters.
• Ensure timely advise on company secretarial matters and completion of departmental inquiries..
• Conduct regular review of teams’ goals along with the status update.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• LLB from a reputable local or international university is required; preference will be given to candidates with an LLM.
• PQE 10+ years of releavant experience.

Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of contract law, with expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements
• Advisory support to the Company Secretary’s office on legal queries and governance matters
• Proven ability in legal risk identification and management across diverse business operations.
