Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education Administration, Management, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Higher Education sector.
- At least 5 years’ experience as Registrar in an HEC-recognized university/institution (preferred).
- Experience in Academic Audits, Institutional Performance Evaluation, and Postgraduate Program Reviews will be an advantage.
- Understanding of QS Ranking and standards are desired.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of academic policies, including student registration, course scheduling, and examination processes.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of student academic records in compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Deans, Directors, and Academic Heads to support curriculum development and implementation. Also coordinate with relevant departments to manage academic calendar and activities.
- Ensure adherence to all higher education regulatory requirements (e.g., HEC and other accrediting bodies).
- Oversee the planning and execution of academic calendar, examination schedules and result compilation.
- Administer the process of degree audits, certification, and convocation ceremonies.
- Lead and mentor staff within the Registrar's Office to ensure high performance and professional growth. Also provide strategic direction for the Registrar's office, aligning with the university's mission and vision.
- Act as a liaison between academic departments, administration, and students to address concerns related to academic operations.
- Organize and facilitate meetings of academic governance bodies by preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and relevant documentation for these meetings in a timely manner. Also ensure the implementation of decisions and resolutions passed by these bodies in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Preparation of annual report and to represent the university when needed.
