WordPress Developer (with Strong Coding Skills)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with strong coding abilities to join our team. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, custom coding, maintaining websites, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Modify existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Conduct website testing, debugging, and QA prior to deployment.
  • Manage WordPress updates, backups, malware and security.
  • Stay current with WordPress trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or examples of work required).
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL.
  • Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with page builders (e.g. WPBakery) and WooCommerce.
  • Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
  • Ability to convert Figma/PSD designs into functional WordPress themes.
  • Knowledge of website performance optimization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points):
  • Experience with REST APIs and AJAX in WordPress.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce customization.
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and core web vitals.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environmen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs90,000.00 per month
