Business Development Executive

Overview:We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Business Development Executive to join our remote team. The right candidate will have a proven ability to win projects through freelance marketplaces and grow those opportunities into long-term partnerships. This role requires a strong focus on international markets, particularly in the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and pursue business opportunities within the tech and gaming sectors via freelance bidding portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and others.
  • Conduct in-depth research to generate leads and pitch services effectively to prospective clients.
  • Engage with clients using a consultative approach, understanding their project needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and submit persuasive proposals aligned with both client goals and company services.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and contribute to revenue generation targets.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Keep a close eye on industry developments, freelance platform trends, and competitor activities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and marketers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and high client satisfaction.
  • Analyze and refine outreach strategies to increase win rates and platform effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience in business development, especially on freelance platforms.
  • Preferred 2 years of Freelance Platforms / Upwork experience.
  • Solid understanding of bidding mechanics and freelance platform dynamics.
  • Knowledge of tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Hunter.io, etc., is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable handling full business development cycles — from initial contact and proposal writing to closing and client follow-up.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
