Business Development Executive

Role Purpose:

The Associate - Human Capital is responsible for assisting with general HC activities within its assigned store, that includes but not limited to recruitment, employee relations and staff training and development.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Policies and Procedures

  • Stay updated about relevant HC Standard Management system (policies, procedures and forms)
  • Work towards aligning procedures and forms required locally (e.g. legal requirements)
  • Monitor the proper documentation after implementation for audit purposes
  • Assist in sourcing contracts for procurement of staff services

Staffing

  • Assist in the manpower planning for the assigned store
  • Support initiatives to ensure the constant availability of the required competent staff to support the store in meeting all its targets, plans and objectives

Employee Engagement

  • Conduct periodic employee engagement and internal customer satisfaction surveys
  • Provide suggestions on how to address the employee engagement and customer satisfaction challenges
  • Organize employee engagement events and team building activities

Training and Performance Management

  • Implement training and performance management systems initiated by the country Head Office
  • Develop reports for the country Head Office related to training and performance

Human Capital Projects

  • Support with the implementation of all relevant HC projects and procedures initiated by the country Head Office
  • Develop reports to communicate the performance of implemented HC projects

Human Capital Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
  • Apply and follow MAF Retail’s Human Capital policies and relevant procedures and instructions
  • Provide training and feedback to direct reportees when required

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or HR

Minimum experience

  • 3-4 years in HC administration, recruitment & Operations
