English Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to middle school students, following both the Sindh Textbook Board and Cambridge International curricula. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of both systems and demonstrate the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learner needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons in line with Sindh Board and Cambridge curricula.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and literature.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for internal assessments as well as Cambridge Checkpoint/Progression Tests.
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance, grades, and performance.
• Foster a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and student development.
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular English-related activities (e.g., debates, writing competitions).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Strong familiarity with Sindh Textbook Board English syllabus and Cambridge English (Checkpoint/Lower Secondary) curriculum.
• Proficient in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
