Human Rights Advocate lawyer

• Provide legal advice and representation in human rights-related matters.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and manage case files.
• Advocate for vulnerable communities through legal frameworks and policy engagement.
• Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Draft policy briefs, legal opinions, and research reports on relevant human rights issues.

NGO Operations & Management:

• Plan, oversee, and implement operational strategies for projects and campaigns.
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns involved in fieldwork, outreach, and administrative roles.
• Manage project budgets, grant reporting, and donor communications.
• Lead internal meetings and represent the NGO in external stakeholder events and coalitions.
• Develop partnerships with other NGOs, legal aid organizations, and government bodies.

Advocacy & Outreach:

• Organize awareness campaigns, training workshops, and seminars on human rights topics.
• Build community outreach initiatives to amplify the voice of marginalized groups.
• Develop and implement media strategies and contribute to organizational publications.

Qualifications:

• LLB or higher degree in Law (Human Rights specialization preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in legal advocacy, litigation, or human rights law.
• 3+ years in NGO/nonprofit operations or program management.
• Deep understanding of local and international human rights law.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Fluency in English and Urdu (both written and spoken).
