Industrial Control Systems Instructor

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Industrial Control Systems Instructor to deliver high-quality training to adult learners. This is a project-based role for 1 month, ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technical training sessions on:
  • Electrical control panels
  • SCADA/PLC systems
  • Industrial instrumentation and automation
  • Power distribution systems (120/208/240/480 V)
  • Conduct interactive workshops, live trainings (virtual or in-person), and hands-on labs.
  • Use adult education best practices such as problem-based learning, breakout sessions, and knowledge checks.
  • Develop curriculum material including assessments, quizzes, and scenario-based exercises.
  • Provide feedback and support to learners to enhance technical understanding.

Requirements:Technical Experience (Required - Minimum 5 Years):

  • Hands-on experience with design, troubleshooting, or inspection of:
  • Electrical control panels
  • SCADA/PLC/HMI programming
  • Industrial instrumentation and automation
  • Power distribution systems
  • Real-world project experience in industries like:
  • Public utilities (water/wastewater)
  • Engineering firms (MEP or automation consultants)
  • Control systems integrators
  • SCADA/PLC vendors
  • Industrial maintenance teams (municipal or healthcare)
  • Relevant roles may include: Control Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Automation Technician, or Lead Integrator.

Instructional Experience (Required - Minimum 3 Years):

  • Experience teaching technical subjects to adult learners in:
  • Corporate training
  • University/college courses
  • Trade schools or continuing education
  • Structured workshops or virtual trainings (minimum 1 hour per session)
  • Subjects taught may include control systems, automation, electrical design, or engineering safety.

Adult Education Competency (Required - Minimum 2 Years):

  • Proficiency in adult learning strategies, such as:
  • ATLAS learning styles (Navigator, Engager, Problem Solver)
  • Problem-based/scenario-based teaching
  • Virtual labs, breakout sessions, assessments
  • Evidence through:
  • Curriculum development with learning outcomes
  • Certifications such as “Train the Trainer” or instructional design
  • Facilitating live/virtual sessions with proven interactive methods

Education:

  • Preferred: Masters degree (MS/MEng) in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Control Systems
  • Industrial Automation
  • Mechatronics
  • Or a closely related technical field
  • Acceptable:
  • Bachelors degree plus significant industry experience
  • Technical diploma with recognized certifications (e.g., Siemens PLC, Allen-Bradley, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, ISA CCST)

Job Type: ContractContract length: 1 month

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
