Information Technology Support Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Microsoft Consultant L2 at TylexTech. The Consultant will be responsible for consulting clients, The role is based in Lahore.

Requirements:

• IT administration experience with Microsoft Server environment
• Microsoft 365 administrative knowledge
• Collaborate closely with network engineers and system administrators to address complex issues and implement improvements.
• Solid understanding of IP addressing schemes, Domain, Active Directory (AD), TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Collaborate closely with network engineers and system administrators to address complex issues and implement improvements.
• Gather user feedback to identify recurring issues and suggest enhancements to IT processes and systems.
• Supporting the migration of existing on-premises data center applications to Azure
• Support the production of weekly activity reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs) documents and checklists, risk and issues logs, and documentation artifacts.
• Hand-on on Azure Virtual Desktop
• Significant experience with writing complex PowerShell and CLI management scripts
• Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and IT management best practices
• Excellent software and network troubleshooting experience
• Excellent communication skills are essential. Must be able to give and receive correct information, maintain a customer service attitude to all levels of users.
• Deep Azure networking experience (Traffic Managers, Load Balancers, App Gateways, VNet Peering)
• Experience and understanding of Azure security, governance, and monitoring
• Engage peers following processes and procedures to create complete solution designs.
• Optimize spending for Azure (VMs, Storage, Services, Reserved instances)

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in related field
• Consulting and Integration skills
• Experience supporting IT Operations
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
• Proficiency in Azure, M365, MS Servers SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange
• Strong background in Information Technology
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in cybersecurity is a plus
• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field
