IT Systems Specialist

Job Description:

• Monitoring the performance and availability of Microsoft-based systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, and related services.
• Provide technical support to end-users for Microsoft applications and systems, including troubleshooting user issues, resetting passwords, and assisting with software installations.
• Managing user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs) within Active Directory, including creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts as per organizational policies.
• Basic management tasks within Exchange Server, such as creating and modifying mailboxes, distribution groups, and mail contacts using Exchange Management Console (EMC) or Exchange Admin Center (EAC).
• Routine system maintenance tasks such as patch management, software updates, and system backups under the guidance of senior system administrators.
• Administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) (as known as MECM) administration, including deploying software updates, managing application deployments, Hardware/ Software inventory and creating detailed reports.
• Help in maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Microsoft systems.
• Provide basic hardware support for servers, workstations, and peripherals within Microsoft environments.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to Microsoft systems and technologies.
• Work closely with senior system administrators and other IT staff to troubleshoot issues, implement changes, and deploy new solutions within Microsoft environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft server operating systems and related technologies.
• Good Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory user administration and Exchange recipient administration.
• Good Understanding and experiance of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), including software deployments and update management, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
