Manager Facilities

Job Summary:

The Manager Facilities will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and maintenance of the boys hostel, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and comfortable living environment for all residents. Additionally, the role will oversee all arrangements related to executive guests, including accommodation, hospitality, and support services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, hostel administration, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and crisis situations efficiently.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and facility management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the boys hostel, including maintenance, housekeeping, security, and facility management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, security, and hygiene standards across the hostel premises.
  • Maintain discipline, enforce hostel rules, and address any grievances of the residents promptly.
  • Coordinate room allocations, check-ins, check-outs, and maintain accurate records of all hostel residents.
  • Supervise hostel staff and vendors, including housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams.
  • Plan and monitor maintenance schedules for facilities, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
  • Handle all logistical arrangements for executive guests including room preparation, hospitality services, and travel support if required.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee procurement of hostel and guest-related supplies and amenities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to hostel operations and guest arrangements.
  • Ensure excellent guest service, addressing any special requests or issues faced by executive visitors.
  • Regularly inspect the premises to identify areas for improvement and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Submit regular reports on hostel occupancy, maintenance status, and guest management activities to senior management.
