Key Contributions

Quality Assurance Contributions

• Analyzing project specifications and design blueprints to ascertain testing prerequisites.
• Supporting the development of comprehensive and meticulously organized test plans and individual test cases.
• Engaging in diverse testing operations, including functional validation, regression checks, and exploratory assessments.
• Aiding in the detection and precise documentation of software defects, facilitating their lifecycle management to resolution.
• Providing essential assistance to the QA unit in conducting rigorous pre-release quality checks.

Skill Development & Learning

• Embracing and diligently implementing established QA protocols and industry-leading practices under expert guidance.
• Gaining insights through observation of the debugging and issue-resolution methodologies.
• Maintaining current knowledge of cutting-edge testing utilities and contemporary quality assurance approaches.

Interdepartmental Engagement

• Engaging collaboratively with engineering, business analysis, and project leadership teams to grasp system functionalities.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be actively enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an allied technical discipline.

Skills

• A foundational grasp of software testing principles and procedural frameworks.
• Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written.
• A keen enthusiasm for mastering the development of test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• An inquisitive mindset eager to delve into both manual (black-box) and theoretical white-box testing paradigms.
• Prior exposure to the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle will be advantageous.

Experience

• No previous professional work experience is mandated; however, any prior internship or academic involvement in quality assurance or software testing endeavors will be viewed favorably.
