Department: Tech Support Specialist
Position: Mid level Tech Support Specialist.
Qualification: A level + BS Or MS in Computer Science / Telecommunication
Excellent written and verbal US English communication skills is a must.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of work experience ( working in a multinational or foreign company is preferred )
Timings: 5pm to 2am PST , onsite , full time job.
Salary: 180k - 220k + other benefits and allowances ( after 3 months of probations)
Location: Rawalpindi Islamabad, Bahria Town Phase 7.
Role Definition:
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network equipment.
- Provide timely and accurate solutions to user inquiries and problems.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
- Hardware and Software Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain Server, Workstation, Hardware and software.
- Provide technical support for various applications, including operating systems, productivity tools, and specialized software.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).
- Network Support:
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including Switch, Firewall, ISP equipment, VPN connections, and Wi-Fi devices.
- Assist with network configuration and maintenance tasks.
- User Training and Support:
- Provide technical training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use technology.
- Create and maintain user documentation and guides.
- Help Desk Operations:
- Manage and respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
Required Skills :
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with common operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Windows 10 & 11, macOS,).
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Certifications in IT support or related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Technician).
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Office 35, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month
