The Division Constellation Home Builder Systems (CHS) is the leading software vendor exclusively focused on the homebuilding industry. The Position The successful Power BI Developer works for the homebuilding industrys leading-edge data services solutions. The Power BI Developer designs and creates, deploys and manages Power BI Reports on Azure Platform and Power BI Workspaces. Responsibilities include:

• Hands-on experience of developing, configuring, deploying and managing Power BI Reports, taking care of Row Level Security features where required
• Collaborating with onshore/offshore team members to accelerate deliveries within existing staffing
• Documenting all system & implementation requirements for the software being developed
• Caring deeply about homebuilder user experiences, implementations, ongoing operational success, and doing whatever it takes to turn a product that customers need into a product they want for life
• Ability to manage work items in tight deadlines

Qualifications And Skills

• Expert level verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to independently understand relational database structures (RDBMS) and schemas
• Ability to understand, write and improve complex SQL/T-SQL queries and stored procedures
• Experience of designing, developing, configuring and deploying Power BI Reports to Power BI Workspaces and Azure Platform
• Experience of/Knowledge about SQL Server Reporting Service is a big plus
• Plan and execute Power BI Reports deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and taking care of security (using Service Principles, User Accounts and Row Level Security, as per requirement)
• Knowledge about embedding Power BI Reports in Single Page Web Application
• Must have all the following competencies:
  • Proven experience of designing, developing, configuring and deploying Power BI Reports dealing with large amount of data
  • Ability to configure Power BI reports security and embedding in web applications
  • Professional experience of RDBMS design (preferably with SQL Server), writing efficient SQL/T-SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid understanding of data migration processes and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• 4+ years of professional experience (can be relaxed if all other boxes are ticked)
