Hiring for Production Manager - KarachiAbout the Client:The Top Packaging company in Pakistan!!!About the Role:Job Description:The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all production operations across printing, die cutting, slitting, and finishing lines. This includes ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, managing shop floor staff, coordinating job priorities, and optimizing resources. The role requires a proactive leader with strong coordination and execution skills to drive productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise daily production schedules for printing, die-cutting, slitting, and rewinding sections
• Ensure production is executed according to job cards, customer specs, and internal quality standards
• Allocate jobs to machine operators and supervisors and monitor execution on the floor
• Minimize downtime, monitor machine performance, and escalate mechanical issues to maintenance team
• Review and sign-off on daily production reports, material consumption, and wastage
• Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, and Store teams for timely delivery of finished goods
• Monitor raw material stock with the store/inventory team and raise purchase alerts when needed
• Implement SOPs, safety measures, and 5S practices to maintain organized and efficient production areas
• Lead morning production meetings and track progress against weekly and monthly targets
• Train and discipline production staff as needed to improve performance and reduce errors
• Maintain accountability of production team regarding attendance, job timings, and output quality
• Analyze productivity metrics and suggest improvements in cycle time, material usage, and labor efficiency
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations, or Industrial Management preferred
• 8+ years of experience in a supervisory or production manager role in printing/packaging industry
• Strong understanding of Flexo printing, die cutting, and label conversion processes
• Able to lead a large team and coordinate between departments
• Proficient in basic reporting and production data analysis (Excel, paper-based logs, etc.)

Other Details:- 8 years experience in Production- MBA in related field- Monday - Saturday ( 9am - 6pm)- Salary: Market Competitive + Benefits
