About the Position

SocialPie Technologies is seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, youll play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive test strategies, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain our high standards. Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Testing: Rigorously test software to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Ensure end-to-end product functionality aligns with user requirements and standards.
• Issue Documentation and Collaboration: Clearly document any defects and collaborate closely with the development team for timely resolution.
• Performance Testing: Conduct load and scalability testing to ensure software performs optimally under various conditions.
• Test Automation: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive library of automated test cases, ensuring continuous testing capabilities.
• Test Strategy Development: Partner with product development and software engineering teams to devise Test Plans and Scenarios, ensuring thorough coverage and high-quality deliverables.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance, best practices, and mentorship to junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Agile Process Engagement: Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative development and feedback.
• Documentation Excellence: Create detailed and clear documentation, capturing test methodologies, results, and any pertinent insights.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Agile Familiarity: Proven experience in a dynamic Agile environment, with an understanding of its principles and practices.
• Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work closely with product managers, designers, and developers in the successful launch of products.
• Project Management: Capability to handle and prioritize multiple projects autonomously, showcasing efficient time management and organizational skills.
